PAEC's FloridaLearns Academy uses the latest technology to make research-based professional development interesting, convenient and practical. Through programs broadcast on the Florida Education Channel (FEC), web-based courses and internet follow-up provided by the electronic Professional Development Connections (ePDC), teachers across the state can get the information they need from the comfort of their home or school.ePDC is an Inservice Management System with a library of online courses.
After viewing one of the professional development broadcasts over the Florida Education Channel or via fec.tv, teachers can enroll in ePDC to complete the corresponding on-line course and receive their in-service training credits.
